Senior FIX Engineer Specialist

Workload: 100% Our client, a leading Swiss private bank, is looking for an experienced (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist to join its Front Office Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical trading systems, FIX connectivity, and electronic trading solutions in an international banking environment. Description:

• Customize, implement and maintain FIX interfaces for electronic trading platforms.
• Configure and enhance order routing, market connectivity and trading workflows across Front AMS, Avaloq and related systems.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Implement, configure and test new functionalities across trading platforms.
• Support business users and troubleshoot production issues.
• Define and optimize IT processes and workflows for execution and settlement.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams to deliver strategic initiatives.

Your Profile :

• EU Passport or a Swiss Visa.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with FIX Protocol in a banking or electronic trading environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives.
• Experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption, TCP/IP networking and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Front AMS, FIS Cross-Asset Trading & Risk Suite and/or Avaloq is highly desirable.
• scripting experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is essential. is an advantage.
