Teaching Assistant – 100% – Maternity Cover

Haut-Lac is an international bilingual school located in St-Légier, above Vevey, overlooking Lake Geneva. We welcome children from more than 50 nationalities and support them through a caring, stimulating and bilingual learning environment.

We are looking for an English-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team as soon as possible (early November 2026) until the end of the school year ( 2027). The position is full time, Monday to Friday.

Your role

• Support the class teacher in daily lessons and classroom routines
• Accompany pupils individually and in small groups, helping each child progress at their own pace
• Help with supervision during breaks, lunchtime and school outings
• Prepare teaching materials and contribute to a well-organised, welcoming classroom

Your profile

• Native or fluent English speaker; French is an asset
• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A recognised qualification in education or childcare is a strong advantage (e.g. CFC ASE, UK Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare, or a degree in education)
• Caring, reliable, flexible and a good team player
• Available to start in early November
